Poe Mill Driving Tour

If you get some extra time this summer, and are new to the neighborhood, you could get a lay of the land by taking a quick driving tour!

We’re not advocating you go into any of these places without making arrangements first, but simply drive to them to get an idea of where everyone is and see the neighborhood as a whole!

The Poe Mill office building - original office and general store of Poe Mill. Now a private boarding house.

Across the street from that is the skate park. Built by skaters on the old mill site after the mill burned down.

Poe Baptist Church and Rivers of Life Ministries, the two churches built with the mill around the time of its founding.

The grass in-between with the pavilion and the play ground we affectionately call Ministry Park.

Soteria community Development Corp - a famous SC non-profit that helps men getting out of prison to get back to a rich and fulfilled life.
