The scriptures direct us to be in community with one another. Here’s information about what that means and how we accomplish that at Griggs.

Jesus founded the church, builds the church, and calls us to commit to the church. Here is what we mean by “church membership” when we talk about it at Griggs.

Baptism is when a believer is immersed in water before witnesses.. It’s a proclamation of faith in Jesus Christ, who has forgiven our sins and given us eternal life.

2 Corinthians 9:7 states, “Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”

Hosting a service means smoothly leading the congregation through various elements of worship.

Using the audio/visual equipment to Jesus has given us, we can ensure everyone a chance to hear and see the service on Sunday morning.

Kids ministry is almost like a church within the church. The people are smaller but God is just as big and our desire is to teach these little ones all about Jesus.

The safety team is here to help everyone have a safe, distraction free enviornment to worship Jesus in.

Welcome team is a way to connect with new visitors, demonstrate the love of Jesus, and serve the neighborhood by handing out coffee and doughnuts on the porch before church.

The goal is to make disciples. This happens by reading Scripture together, interpreting it in a Jesus-centered way, and guiding group members to reflect on how the passage challenges them to take a next step in their walk with Christ.
