Nehemiah 9:5

The Greater Doxology

Glory to God in the highest, and peace to his people on earth.

Lord God, heavenly King, almighty God and Father, we worship you, we give you thanks, we praise you for your glory.

Lord Jesus Christ, only Son of the Father, Lord God, Lamb of God, you take away the sin of the world: have mercy on us; you are seated at the right hand of the Father: receive our prayer. For you alone are the Holy One, you alone are the Lord, you alone are the Most High, Jesus Christ, with the Holy Spirit, in the glory of God the Father. Amen.

O Gladsome Light

O gladsome light of the holy glory of the immortal Father, heavenly, holy, blessed Jesus Christ.

Now that we have come to the setting of the sun and behold the light of evening, we praise the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. For it is at all times right to worship you,

O Son of God, Giver of life, therefore all the world glorifies you.

We Praise You

We praise You, O God: we acknowledge You to be the Lord. All the earth worships You, the Father everlasting.

To You all angels cry aloud, the heavens and all the powers therein. To You cherubim and seraphim continually cry: ‘Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God of Sabaoth; Heaven and earth are full of the Majesty of Your glory.’

The glorious company of the Apostles praise You. The goodly fellowship of the Prophets praise You. The noble army of Martyrs praise You. The holy Church throughout all the world acknowledges You.
